In September 2026, Lucienne is leading a tour Authors and Artists of the Greek Islands for the Art Gallery of NSW and Renaissance Tours, visiting six islands which have enchanted and inspired writers and painters over the centuries, from Homer to Leonard Cohen.

Starting in cosmopolitan Hydra, home to the 1950s/60s enclave of George Johnston, Charmian Clift and Sidney Nolan, we will then island-hop to Kefalonia, immortalised in 'Captain Correlli's Mandolin' by Louis de Bernières, Paxos for its unique open-air Biennale, and Corfu, long-time home of the Durrell brothers, Lawrence and Gerald, as well as watercolourist Sophie Atkinson. Along the way we will visit beautiful villages, galleries and gardens, soaking up the islands' history, while basking in the sun and sparkling blue seas.
